POWER & PERFORMANCE
Predatory Instinct: A fierce, lightweight supernaked built for the streets.
- ENGINE – Legendary Sport Performance: Exciting power, smooth response and abundant low-end torque is produced by the same class-leading Parallel Twin engine as the Ninja 400 sportbike.
- CLUTCH – Assist & Slipper: A compact clutch assists with a light feel at the lever and a wide engagement range for confident control. A back-torque limiting slipper function helps prevent rear-wheel hop when downshifting.
Z STYLING
All Eyes on You: Taking cues from its Z brethren, the unmistakable streetfighter styling complements an aggressive attitude.
- BODYWORK – Aggressive & Agile: Edgy, minimalist bodywork is influenced by Sugomi, a design that inspires sharp styling, dynamic performance and a distinct silhouette.
- FRONT COWL – Sporty Design: The angular design of the front cowl is complemented by a compact, dark meter visor that adds to the aggressive look.
- LIGHTS – Light up the Path: The quad LED headlamp is highly visible and offers significant brightness for a wide illuminated path.
- FRAME – Exposed Trellis Frame: Similar in design to that of the Ninja H2 motorcycle, the trellis frame design adds to the technical and lightweight image in distinct supernaked style. The frame also offers balanced riding experience for light and easy manoeuvring with excellent capability at highway speeds.
- COCKPIT – High-grade & Modern: Stacked instrument cluster features a clean and easy-to-read analogue-style tachometer and multi-function LCD screen with gear position indicator fuel and temp gauges, economical riding indicator and more.
HANDLING
Agile & Precise: The Z400 motorcycle was built to deliver light, predictable and natural handling for a confident riding experience.
- WHEELS – Sporty & Stylish: Stylish star-pattern 5-spoke wheels contribute to the Z400’s light weight and feature optimised lateral rigidity that benefits cornering and overall handling.
- REAR SHOCK – Fully Adjustable: 5-way preload adjustability lets riders adjust the stiffness and ride height to suit body weight or when riding two-up.
- SUSPENSION – Refined & Responsive : Plush suspension comes thanks to a Ø41 mm telescopic front fork that’s tuned to provide progressive damping and responsive performance with a high level of feedback to the rider.
- BRAKES – Superb Stopping Power: Gripped by a balanced actuation dual-piston caliper, the Z400 boasts a large Ø310 mm semi-floating petal front disc. Nissin’s ABS control unit is compact and lightweight, delivering precise control to help prevent wheel lockup under extreme braking.
ERGONOMICS
Comfort in Every Detail: The upright riding position, low seat height and wide handlebar put the rider in the ideal position for active control, facilitating dynamic, sporty riding.
- FOOTPEGS – Comfortable & Sporty : Sporty aluminium footpegs offer direct feel and are positioned slightly forward, offering a comfortable riding position and clear reach to the ground at stops.
- HANDLEBAR – Balanced & Wide: The wide handlebar adds leverage for dynamic control and contributes to easy manoeuvrability.
