Lighter chassis with improved ground clearance
Our R&D team have managed to remove 4Kg of weight with the redesigned steel frame, aluminium swingarm and bottom yoke further increasing bikes power to weight ratio.
Larger & more powerful engine
We increased its cubic capacity resulting in increased peak power +1.4KW at 19.6KW and +3.5NM at 26.1NM.ECU mapping has been adjusted to suit the larger capacity engine with throttle response improving significantly. The new CRF300L’s engine rev’s smoother a faster than ever before.
LED lighting
The all-new CRF300L now features LED lighting all-round. With LED indicators that are now flexibly mounted for increased off-road durability and the new LED headlight ensures your adventure doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down.
Assist/Slipper clutch
A first for Honda’s dual-purpose market the assist/slipper clutch eases upshifts and manages rear wheel “chatter” under hard braking and rapid downshifts, it also aids in reducing lever pull by 20% making stop-start riding even easier.
2-Channel ABS
2 Channel ABS as standard with the ability to turn the rear wheels ABS off when exploring on rough terrain. The front brake uses a single 256mm disc gripped by a two-piston calliper, the rear a 220mm disc and single-piston calliper; in common, with the CRF competition machines, the rear master cylinder is now a lightweight, integrated design. The discs feature a wave design – also taken directly from the CRF250R/CRF450R – with exceptional self-cleaning abilities in adverse conditions. 2-channel ABS is standard.
Comprehensive digital dash
Easy-to-read information is laid out clearly and features speedometer, rev-counter, fuel gauge, clock and now also features a gear position indicator.
